Marc Terenzi is bringing the horror to Europa-Park with Terenzi Horror Nights! In the dilapidated Hell’s Inn hotel on Dead Alley, a covered-up suicide triggers a deadly zombie revenge and turns the building into a haunted house of horror! In the Chamber of Horrors – La Soffitta in the Italian themed area, visitors have to feel their way through a dark labyrinth full of eerie figures and shifting surfaces…
The story is set in Dead Alley, where there is an old, dilapidated hotel that was frequented mainly by celebrities in the 1930s. A new owner wants to restore the hotel to its former glory and is renovating the building. He moves into the hotel with his daughters. One day, a man named Harold Guest arrives at the hotel. He receives a terrifying phone call and subsequently hangs himself in his room.
When the owner discovers the body, he tries to cover up the suicide, wrapping the lifeless body in plastic and sinking it in a lake. But the dead man returns as a zombie and takes cruel revenge: he throws the owner’s daughters into the lake as well, and they too return to the hotel as water corpses.
It was pitch black in the Chamber of Horrors, located in the Mack exhibition in the Italian themed area.
Only by feeling one’s way slowly was it possible to navigate the dark labyrinth. As they did so, visitors walked over various surfaces, repeatedly encountering strange figures.
